Ash scattering over National Parks

A Journey With Wings scatters cremated remains by airplane over many National Parks in the Southwest US. Most National Parks will allow for scattering of cremated remains by require it to be done in an undeveloped area. Ash Scattering by airplane is one of the only ways to accomplish an ash scattering over National Parks.

Permission is granted by each park at the discretion of the park superintendent. Below is a list of parks we have worked with. Please contact us if you have any questions about these or other ash scattering over National Park locations.

 

Zion National Park

Zion National ParkAsh (Cremated Remains) Scattering by air over Zion National Park.  This beautiful location is located in Southern Utah. It’s tall sandstone cliffs and deep valleys are breathtaking.

Sequoia National Park

Ash (cremated remains) Scattering cremated remains by airplane over Sequoia National Park or Kings Canyon National Park. These two National Parks are located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. If you thought they were beautiful to view from the ground, you should see them from the air.

Grand Canyon National Park

Ash (cremated remains) scattering over the Grand Canyon is very beautiful. Many National Parks will allow the scattering of cremated remains (ashes). As with the state park system, each individual national park gives the final authority. Witnessing a scattering from the Grand Canyon can be done from the Grand Canyon West, just a two-hour drive from Las Vegas or from one of the look out point on the South Rim.
